Program 1 by e-learning
Walking Coach recognises that professional coaches are busy people and may therefore prefer to pursue distance learning from home or the office when training to become a Walking Coach. The benefit of this for you is that there are no travelling or other subsidiary costs and flexible learning to suit your personal needs.
Consequently, we offer you the opportunity to complete Program 1 on line as an e-learning course.
Entry Requirements
Our elearning program is only available for existing coaches looking to complete Program 1 because it requires a degree of prior knowledge and understanding of the theoretical aspects of coaching and coaching models and some experience of applied coaching. We require confirmation that you have ‘Professional Indemnity’ insurance up to the level of £250,000 and confirmation that you will agree to a CRB check.

There is an early bird booking fee of £450 (otherwise £495)
Content
When you sign up to the e-learning program you will be given a username and password, which will enable you to sign in to our online elearning portal and complete the required modules at your own pace. The e-learning program involves;
- Access to the secure online learning portal
- Password access to your own individual grade book
- Access to all required learning material, including podcasts and video tutorials.
- Use of a unique online status alert to tell you when a tutor is online and available for telephone and video tutorial
- Access to a study forum where you can discuss coaching and study related topics with other students and tutors.
- 1:1 support from a tutor
- Step by step guide to completing the learning modules
- Ability to complete and submit require online assessments
